I assume it is wireless (WiFi). Some of my WiFi devices require some time before they connect back to the router after a power outage. If you have something like "fing" a cell phone app, you could check the radio's status.
I have Canon equipment, not Nikon but I tried batteries other than Canon and they seemed to work, but not as long as the Canon ones. Also when registering the batteries with my camera (3 of them) they all registered with the same serial number. Made it impossible to track. Go with OEM.
My understanding is that mirror-less cameras have their sensors exposed to light through the lens all of the time. I am very careful not to point my cameras at the sun unless it is dimmed by clouds, morning or evening .... However I often carry the camera with the lens cap off when doing a photo session. Just wondered if someone here knew if this was an aspect of mirror-less cameras of which care should be taken. I did a search on line and got a number of "be caerful's" but nothing definitive.
If you have photoshop or elements you can create a layer that is all black except for the pants and vest and then play with just those items to try and correct both the exposure and noise. I think the TV looks better dark in the original. If you have already tried this sorry for my lame post.
