Anyone have a ring light? I just got a new one for xmas that I have only used once so far but I absolutely love it!

It is killer for portraits with the circular key light in the subject's eyes.

I can def see how it would be helpful with macros. I love macro but have encountered the shadow effect from the camera/lens, as well as my head when outside.

Yesss! I agree. The bulb burned out in my old one and I could not find a replacement. I now have a newer one that is larger, led, power and color temp is adjustable, and has a rechargeable battery so it is portable. I am loving it!
