Purcell, Oklahoma, vs Kingfisher, Oklahoma. Purcell dominated.
Thank you. Sometimes my barn is better lit than some of the field houses I shoot in, but it works.
Small town/school athletics is fun. These schools aren't always blessed with talent, but they are scrappy and the women are the scrappiest. They go all out. It's fun to watch. They do it for personal and school pride. Enjoy these highlights from the Lexington, Ok, High School Lady Bulldogs (white uniform) vs Bridge Creek. The Lady Bulldogs won.
Check out the YouTube reviews on the Canon 80d.
I've been shooting a Tamron 70-200 f2.8 for almost a year. It's a nice lens. Sharp images. Two points I'd make, and they are minor. First the lens is heavy. Second, the zoom ring and the focus ring are opposite of Canon lens. This takes a little adjustment, but in the long run it's fine. I shoot sports and equine events. Very happy with the results so far. I'd suggest you go to youtube and check out the comparison reviews to the Canon and Tamron 70-200 if you haven't already.
The Oliver Ranch is 10,000 acres located between Blanchard and Newcastle, Oklahoma. They run a 500 head buffalo herd on the ranch.
I believe that Photoshop CS6 is the end of the line for that software. Adobe is now going to Adobe Creative Cloud which includes photoshop, lightroom and some other stuff. The basic subscription is $9.99 per month. Adobe will keep this updated. I've used this for about a year. I like it.
Nice. That girl can sit a horse if she can run barrels bareback.
In my opinion it is. I shoot everything in RAW. I like the flexibility it offers. And, I save all my RAW images just in case I want to go back and do something different with the image.
I prefer black & white images, but sometimes color is the only thing that works for the image. Here is one of my black & white images. You can see more on FB @doublegimages.
I just received my Tamron f2.8 70-200mm G2 zoom lens. Did my first photo shoot with it this weekend. Shot 444 images. I got some of the sharpest images I can remember taking with it. All the reviews I read about the lens before purchasing it were good. You're right, it is pricey, but cheaper than buying the Canon 70-200 (I'm a Canon shooter), and I would guess cheaper than a Nikon lens. I'd recommend Tamron. You might consider a used lens, if you can find a trusted source.
