There are several out in Lancaster County and worth a day trip (for you) to see them. See the site at https://www.discoverlancaster.com/activities/pa-covered-bridges.asp for a list.
When I lived up there I wasn't into photography and now my visits don't include time to roam where there are such great places to capture. Maybe one of these days... Loved your captures.

A musician would have many stories out of this photo. Great shot.

He has great expressive eyes while the rest of the scene is relaxed.
I like it.

It's remarkable that after all this time five HS friends still have a relationship and willing to get together for the recreation.

No. When your lens is switched to manual focus all other focus modes are defeated
Yup... my brain fart. Thanks.

If you mean manual exposure...yes. If you mean manual focus...no.
Thanks... so in 'AF' (auto focus) on my lens and camera it will work but if I go into 'AF off' on my lens into manual mode the BBF does not work. Does the half button press then work?
Larry
On the 80D does the Back Button Focus work in manual mode?
Thanks, Larry
Does anyone use the 'Manfrotto MH804-3W 3 Way head'? And specifically, can the set knobs be set to have a slight resistance for flexible shooting? I'll be using it on a moderately priced carbon fiber tri-pod.
I have a ball head without an aiming arm which I miss.
I'm shooting a Canon 80D with an EF 100 - 400 4.5 5.6 L IS II USM 1/4 of the time and a Tamron AF 17-50 mm 2.8 IF most other times (usually hand held).
At less than $90, it's within my reach (since I just got the Canon lens new, and I'm married to someone who doesn't understand why I waste my money on photography 'things').

Image one is giving you the finger. I think it is a cool shot.
Yes... but it appears to me that #2 is giving a thumbs up.LOL
Sometimes I have to ask myself... is this shot worth throwing away? Not every 'good' shot is worth keeping if it doesn't capture my interest, and not every 'questionable' shot is discarded if I didn't see it with my first looks but come back to it without understanding why.

P.S. Case in point: I don't know why I write this crap.
It appeals to me that you didn't crop out the left side which includes the tree fungus. It tells a greater story than just ducks in a row. Sharp, well composed, well timed. Excellent!
Larry
Really great capture, although he looks to be enjoying a lolly-pop rather than a cigarette.

Nah! Only 4 - as far as I know Antarctica has no postal facilities.
Let's see, UK Postal Service to United States Postal Service and it has to get to the Canadian Postal Service for delivery. Where is the main connection between USPS and CPS?
If they would just give you Frequent Flyer Miles for your package you should be able to get a ticket for a nice vacation to somewhere warmer than the UK in winter.
I believe Port Lockroy in Antarctica is a postal facility, albeit open only part of the year. Keep checking, it might go there.
