I think the subtlety of the background works better against the sharp thorns than does Fred's rework. Agree with Kuzano that it might make a very interesting large print. Agree with speters that your decision shouldn't be influenced by us

Sometimes I have to ask myself... is this shot worth throwing away? Not every 'good' shot is worth keeping if it doesn't capture my interest, and not every 'questionable' shot is discarded if I didn't see it with my first looks but come back to it without understanding why. Larry P.S. Case in point: I don't know why I write this crap.
Its the whimsey of the branches that attracts me. I would suggest a centered square crop, putting more emphasis on that aspect, at the same time, removing the less attractive bokeh far right.
