Sharing some more of my long exposure shots taken throughout recent years since I'm fairly new to UHH. This type of photography can be really gratifying and I really enjoy it.

No, don't do it this way. If you've had LR for over a year, I'm sure it has prompted you to backup your Catalog many times. Simply open up the last backup of your catalog and you're back in business.

Here's a youtube video on how to backup and restore a backup. The guy has a Mac, so it may be a little different than yours if you have a PC. Or just search youtube again and someone will probably have a PC so you can see exactly how.

Thamk you Jeep daddy, i watched the video and did what you had recommended. I do regular back ups , plus have an external hard drive for back up. I have only been using LR for a year and am self taught through video, books, etc. It is a continual learning process but for sure I will never make this mistake again.

Yes. Open library, then select your folders and photos in Navigator pane and do import all over again. You can do it one folder at a time or all at once. Remember to set your naming and location protocols.

Thank you Andy I will try tomorrow after work. And will my edits still be there?

When I first started using Lightroom a year ago every photo I had in my hard drive was imported in. This was obviously a big mistake on my part. I have recently spent hours removing years worth of photos that I will never edit in Lightroom. Today I made a BIG mistake and removed every photo. The photos are still on my hard drive, but is there a way to reimport edited ones from the past year? Please some help .

When focusing with the IS turned on there is a loud whirring noise. The question is should this noise continue for 4more seconds after the photo is taken. I use a canon 80D and would like to know if anyone else has a similar problem. I purchased this lens refurbished from Canon back in Feb. I do have an e mail into them inquiring. Thanks for any info.

The Oliver Cabin in Cades Cove. This required that I walk a mile and a half into the cove at dusk, set up, and after taking the photos, walk back out in the dark. I want to thanks by assistants, Smoky the Bear, who dropped by in the dark to help me hasten my work and the Iphone app Photopills who helped me get the Milky way in the right position. Please use the download to view this image.

Thanks for looking.
