Yes, Mark- I have 3 of them on vinyl.
(There may have been more than three.)
The other thing that drove me crazy about this lens was the severe barrel distortion
(at wide angle settings) or severe pincushion distortion (at telephoto settings).
I've used this lens to take hundreds of photos of sunrises over the Atlantic ocean.
I make the assumption that the horizon should be straight (not curved inwards or outwards).
I would have to make corrections in Photoshop to fix this problem on every single photo.
3% or 4% or sometimes even 6% adjustment was needed on every photo.
I enjoyed the record of Joe with Ella Fitzgerald-
just the two of them, no band.
As the dxomark test results showed- as long as you don't go past f 8 it is fine!
No argument there.
For me, I got tired of trying to remember not to use it past f 8
so it sits on the shelf.
One of my favourite guitarists.
I have many vinyl records and cds by him.
I also like it. Can you explain how you did it?
As others have mentioned, it is impossible to do justice to both PEI and Nova Scotia in one week.
As a photographer, you could spend a week in PEI and then three (or more) weeks in Nova Scotia.
I suggest "doing" one area well instead of trying to cover a lot of ground and just skimming the surface.
I hope they keep that snake very well fed, otherwise the baby could end up being his lunch!
