Thanks, Larry. My "secret" is that for past 15+ years, I have subscribed to JazzontheTube. It the largest collection of jazz videos in the world. It's free, but I always make a yearly donation.
Enjoy the music!!

To return the favor... Two of my favorites (of so many in that era)

Ahmad Jamal's 'Blue Moon'. Exceptional percussion.

John Coletrane's 'My Favorite Things'

In my collection, I have over 1800 vinyls and nearly 900 CD's. Then there are 22 Gigs of downloads. I listen to them all once a week... LOL
Thanks.

Wow!!! I don't have many vinyls left, about 150 CD's but I do have 1 TB of mp3 files. Many of them are from the former Napster & Limewire and of course converted CD's to mp3.

I have 3 32 Gig chips (not full, mind you, yet, but adding) of music that I can listen to in my car that I switch out monthly. I have an eclectic taste in music except for Opera and rap. The genres I can't get into.
When I retired, one of my goals was to digitize all my music into mp3's. I'm only a quarter way there after 15 years. At 80, I guess that's not gonna happen (damn photography!).

I have flash drives with mp3 files for one of our cars (my wife's Accord). I have a 1999 CRV, way prior to USB ports and it has a tape deck too. I play CD's in it. Most of my music is Classical (tons), jazz (tons - mostly from the 40's - 80's) older Rock, some older pop, Broadway and some country for my wife (not my thing). While I do not view or listen to the current music scene (my wife does some). I have very strong, negative opinions of it.

Ha ha, we're pretty similar in taste (is that our age?). Living in the Jacksonville, FL, area now, I like to say I live on a dirt road off the soft road, off the hard road. I put about 25000 miles on my car each year traveling to PA and Maine visiting my sons, plus road trips around the country. I would be at a loss without my music, and a variety, to boot.
I do carry my cameras with me but I'm shoddy with what I capture. Shoot 1000 save 10. Oh, well.

Might be?? I'm 82 and still alive. We are in our cars very often, take two trips to the coasts of NC & SC a year. We lived in Sunset Beach, NC for 13 years (98 - 2011) and moved back to NJ. About two times a month we drive 55 miles(one way) to my former childhood hometown of Bradley Beach, NJ for pizza. It's the only pizza we enjoy! Vic's Pizza. https://www.vicspizza.com/ I'm not sure I would survive without my music. We have season tickets to NJ Symphony Orchestra in Newark. Fabulous!! I always have my music while driving. I have a fantastic wife. I introduced her to jazz and she is a absolute diehard fan. As you do, we enjoy a wide variety of music, but we each have our favorites.

Life is good!! My body does not totally agree, but my mind is fine. (I think)
