We can be our worst critics at times and a swelled head so now and then is a welcome diversion. The lens and the photographer are a dynamic duo. The wall came out beautiful.

These two photos were taken in the 80's in Chicago with a Yashica Mat 24 twin lens reflex camera. I shot the first photo by aiming the lens upward to and right on the window to get rid of any glare or reflection from the city. The funny part is when I showed the first photo, people asked me how I got him to pose for me. I told them to look at his wrist. The second, photo, I backed up and showed the mannequin and the reflection of the city. It looks almost like a double exposure, but it is not.

Were these shots taken in Tacoma, WA? What road was that vantage viewpoint taken? I have been trying to find some vantage points to take photos of the two bridges. Lord knows, I have crossed those bridges a lot.

I have wondered about Flickr since they changed a few years ago to make it "easier". I understood they were going to search my whole computer and post every picture to their site. I don't want that and could never figure out whether that was the default, or I could turn that off and still upload deliberately.

Microsoft does the same thing with OneDrive. They will default to saving everything on your computer to their cloud if you aren't paying attention. I have a cloud backup service, but it's not Microsoft, and I say what it does.

I am still posting on Flickr and they have not scanned my computer to download my photos to the site. I post the photos I want to Flickr on my own. If I wanted to post all of my photos to Flickr I have the use of 1 terabyte of space. But, the download is not automatic.

I post my photos on Flickr and Youpic. I am not interested in selling my photos and my photos on Flickr are under the Creative Common License and have been used on many websites. So, if anybody asks if I have been published, I can say yes. I have been paid twice for use of my photos in textbooks.

Beautiful series. They are not easy to shoot but fun when you get the shots that make the cut. I had bought an Olympus 3.2 MP point and shoot used for $75.00. It was only a 5X zoom but a killer macro. I took a lot of macros in my yard and bees were one of them. For every 100 bee photos I took 80 were worth deleting, 20 were passable 10 were fine and 5 to 3 were fantastic. Is it any wonder that camera lasted 5 years before it gave up the ghost?

A considerable number of my images are not worth pp and are deleted.

I echo these sentiments. I used to PP a lot of my images and realized that I was wasting a lot of time to pp images I did not like. I became a lot more editorial and developed a delete hand.

The B&W makes the bridge really stand out by adding more contrast.

This shot is way to cute and funny. I love the way the cats are looking up at all the same time. How you got this shot is amazing.
