I've no idea how you did the back and forth but I like it.
For me it is definitely color. Kinda wish the guy in the background was missing, but I like the horse portrait.

Thanks for looking and your opinion. I am not sure that I can remove the guy but I will try.

Such a beautiful color on the horse. Color wins for me. Great job. Like the on/off effect.

Wow, how did you do that? Very cool to compare in that way. The color shows all the gear (tack?) best.

It's a bit busy and tightly framed (ear) and as edited, the b&w has too many middle grays to be of interest for me; the elements kind of run together. I'd like to see a b&w with more contrast - perhaps really bring out the red in the horse in color, then in converting use the red filter to make the horse appear whiter. Other ways to accomplish also, of course.

Probably color. Affinity has a tool that removes people and stuff, and does quiet a good job at it. Might try it.

I'm one who definitely likes both color and B&W. To me, B&W photos often creates a feeling of history or a time in the past. I would prefer your photo not to be in B&W, because I really like the warm color of the horse.

Thank you for looking and your opinion. I am not familiar with Affinity. Who or what is this?

And well! Your new image brought my eye to the twin reflections in the hame balls (I had to google it), a whole new beautifull wold in your picture.

I like b&w but I really like this pic in color.
The colors and the detail are beautiful.
