It finally happened. I dropped my Sony a6000 with a Sony 4/18-105 lens attached while taking photos of Granddaughter at a softball tournament. I didn't believe it hit too hard from about 18" to the ground. I guess it did since it will no longer focus. I tried it on my Sony a6600 with the same result, so it is the lens not the camera. I bought it used from a UHHer about 3 years ago. Great walk-around for trips. Should I try to have it repaired, or just look for a replacement? If repaired -- with whom? I'm in Delaware. No warranty since it was purchased from an individual.
Thanks in advance.
Alan

I dropped my A77 ll, sent it to Precision Camera in Enffield Connecticut. Had to replace the in camera focus slider. $450.00 to repair. Repair took 1 month. Really great customer service contact agents. Camera came back like new.
One of my favorite places for photos is Watchung Lake, and I try to get there for the full gamut of shots - Spring, Summer, Fall and Spring. Here's 2021's Spring view.
So then you have no objection to paying more taxes since you have a bicycle and most motorists don't. You are not entitled to your bicycle lane without paying for it. Bicycles belong in a parks and NOT on city roads blocking motorists who have had lanes confiscated for their selfish joyrides.
Bike lanes? What good are bike lanes if the bikers are riding three abreast?
Nothing like coming up behind a large group bicycles, sometimes three abreast and no shoulder. We get the bikers from the cities riding the roads in my small town. car drivers get impatient trying to pass. I believe that bikers should follow the same "rules of the road" that motorized vehicles must abide by (single file). I think a letter to the mayor is in order.
This video was excellent and itβs explanation of SD cards read and write speeds. It was especially so since I was waiting in a long line to get gas for my car. Have a great day
