I am 88, all else aside I have gone to a bridge camera (new term, a bridge between the pocket camera and the SLR) Shoot mostly full auto, with up to 65x zoom (35mm equ 21 to 1365 mm optical and up to 5400 mm electronic) you can look 1/2 mile away and see what a person is wearing. Do birds, sunsets, ships etc. The purest here will say I am wrong, but look at my pictures and you decide

They came to me, saw the pic on MarineTrafic.com . Not that many pics of her around, but had I asked for more $ they would have looked harder. She sank, so no more pics.

I use an sx60, my 4th sx series camera. sx70 more $ not much more camera

I am 87, have and run picasa on windows 10. wife just go new computer, went to england to get Picasa, runs well. Would like to run it till I die, then I do not care.

I work in the photo lab at walmart Middletown De, we do lots of canvas prints, same day or next day. wood frame. Very nice if I do say so. If you do walmart, choose the mirrored option, most of our redo's are do to bad choice in this option.

I sell cameras and cards at walmart, have told over 100 customers if they are traveling take at least 2 cards and swap then every day so if you drop the camera in the drink or have it stolen you only lose 1/2 of your pics, I have had 5 stop back and say thanks, camera was stolen.

A suggestion. with free cash think two, it is good to have a backup and I would again suggest the canon SX60hs as the perfect backup with the 65 x optic zoom with 4x electronic (260x overall) (5460 mm in 35mmeq) you can get a very usable pic a mile away.

I am on my 4th Canon sx series 5,10,40, now 60. With the introduction of the canon SX70is (not that much change) the sx60 is a good buy. Just sold the rights to a ship picture to he Discovery Chanel from my SX40is

Did ask for a credit line. Just got a msg if they use my pics they will make an offer. in that the ship sank in 2015 no additional pics can be taken.

I take and post on marine traffic ship pictures, some 200. A reality show producer has approached asking to use one or two in an upcoming documentary on ship disasters how much should I charge for the use. Any one have any experience?
