I would be interested too but only if you accepted PayPal. I might even pay the seller 3% fees, but everyone, you and potential buyers, need the protection that PayPal provides both parties to a sale. Good luck with your sale.

I recently sold a special edition Leica Cl camera and lens. MPB gave me a much better price than KEH and others. They paid for the shipping and agreed with my almost new rating of camera and lens. They paid me exactly what they quoted and did so promptly. I am a very satisfied customer.

I have also made purchases from MPB and have also been very satisfied with equipment matching their condition rating. I will try them again if I can’t find a buyer for an item. I do have one lens, a Leica L mount, that their price offering and other vendors, was too low for me to except. So, it’s listed on eBay.

2. It is USA version, as indicated, purchased from Precision Camera in Austin, TX not gray market.
I have sold things here and never a problem, it is indeed mint condition.
I bought the new 24-70 GM II so don't need both.

Did you mean me or the previous interested person?

We’re planning a trip to the Middle East next year and have been searching for that perfect travel camera like you. We had tried the RX100vii briefly last year and gave up on it, perhaps too quickly. Although we are very concerned about the desert sand and lack of weatherproofing.
We have a Canon R5 system and don’t want to lug that on a non-photography centric trip. But we love fullframe and the Sony A7C. Much smaller and lighter than the Canon and with a fast prime and a zoom, might meet our needs. Then again, we are renting a Nikon Zfc to give that a try out; again a fast prime and a compact zoom.
I guess this photographer’s quandary, is something a lot of us are facing, as we are aging. I enjoyed the discussion and hope to hear about your experience next year.

I have 3 sets (8 CLi-42 Multipack - BK, GY, LGY, C, PC, M, PM, Y) of Empty Ink Cartridges for folks who want to do ink refilling with a non Canon ink. I used the ink sets in my Canon Pro 100 printer. I can sell 1 set of 8 different color cartridges for $20 (that includes shipping to you in a box and PayPal fees). I have 3 different sets up for a new home. Please PM me if you are interested with your PayPal email address so I can send you an invoice. Questions are welcome and I have additional photos if needed.

Went out last Friday to photo the milky way. Was supposed to be ideal conditions. Had scouted three spots to shoot from. Arrived at the first spot at 12 am. Not ideal at night as the lights from a local lumber mill spilled over into my camera position. Still, I was able to record a decent image. Then, went up to our local vista point. Very dark, with the best conditions. Set up the camera and was shooting images by 12:30 am. Had taken three images when a car pulled up beside me. Dome light went on and I could see a young man with bald hair and numerous tattoos all over his face. The hackles on my neck went up. Creepy guy began rummaging around in his car. That feeling you get when you know something just isn't right began to gnaw at me.

I reached into my camera bag and took hold of my old friend, Mr Smith&Wesson, and slid him into my jacket. I never took my eyes off CreepyGuy. I quickly packed up and left. I came back a half hour later and he was gone so I continued my photo shoot.

The thing is, in our culture you can never be too careful. A word to the wise: when you are out alone, be vigilant. It wouldn't hurt to have someone along for protection.

Attached is an image from the night's milky way images.

As a recent widow, I have grappled with how to pursue my landscape photography hobby or begin astrophotography. I have a permit to carry in my state but not others and you can’t legally carry in any National or State park. Makes it very hard to feel safe going out there for sunrise and sunset photos or Astro. So, I stay home and the gear sits. Only choice seems to be expensive photo tour vacations. The rest of my family doesn’t share my hobby. I often wondered if there are other widows or older single women out there that love outdoor photography and are limited in opportunities to take photos.

Your photo is absolutely beautiful!

Not far northeast of Portland, the Maine coast becomes ragged with fingers of land stretching out into the ocean. Some actually are peninsulas but others are composed of small islands, often connected by bridges. If you want to photograph sea-coast, this is a good place to explore.

Alternatively, you can think of the coast as fingers of water extending up into the Maine land-mass. My wife and I stayed for a few days last month on an island that is part of the town of Edgecomb. The island is within one of these fingers of water, the Sheepscot River. The island is easily accessed by car over bridges. Attached are some pictures I took while there.

I woke up a little after 4:00 am yesterday for no particular good reason. But instead of going back to sleep, I grabbed some coffee and headed out to see if I could catch a nice sunrise. Things seemed iffy at first, but as the sun started to wake up there were ~10 minutes of very intense color. Although it didn't last long, it was a great way to start the day.

Lovely, lovey photo. Excellent composition and awesome colors!

I would HIGHLY recommend Capital Reef. So different from all the other parks and is an easy stop and can be in a few hours depending how many stops you make.

Will check out what it’s about. Thx for responding!
