I am a liberal and conservatives call me a socialist. My great grandmother was the first women republican in her city and I had a lot of repect for her but I do believe she would feel the tea part republican agenda has gone to far right. I am for reform bit the republican tea part has put to many people in jeopardy with there cuts. The majority of people work hard and the few who need help are old people children and the disabled to many cuts have been made in these areas. I would like to see one less bomb made and more programs to help the disabled have more oprotunitys in education. I have witnessed teachers being villains for making 30 to 40 thousand dollars a year

No teacher was vilified for making that kind of money. They were vilified for demanding that taxpayers (who fund their own pensions) fund the teachers' pensions, too - in the middle of a recession.

Thousands of non-union GM pensioners lost their benefits, while unions benefited from the bailouts. It wasn't just the wealthy who gain, and it wasn't just the poor who were hurt.

I don't agree with conservatives at this time. Maybe in the future when both parts can be in the middle maybe but for now the right is to far right.

Until we have a president who is a true community organizer, that will never change.

Nope I ment it get a thicker skin

Then show a little common courtesy. If you disagree with people - like the KOCH brothers - then state your disagreement on the ISSUES.

Showing a lack of decency and respect for people who don't agree with you says far more about you than it does about any of the people you're attempting to smear with school-yard insults.

Oh, I fully agree that it's both sides. I have long been an independent, and (proudly) have never donated a nickel to any political party. Still, once Obama was elected it was in the country's best interest to compromise on the issues. Remember when politics was considered the art of compromise? Boehner & Obama came close but failed because Boehner couldn't get his people to agree to anything that wasn't in goosestep with their ideology. So I do put substantially more of the blame on the Republicans. So far as the senate is concerned I think that Reid is a horror, and his recent comments about Romney not paying taxes for 10 years as being despicable.

You can blame the Rep's for that one issue, but there are dozens of other bills that WERE compromised on in the House, but can't get a simple vote in the Senate.

Comparing Boehner's inability to get his people to agree with Reid's flat refusal to LET his people vote is ridiculous.

Cathie, it's sort of naive to assume that the Pres. can somehow wave a magic wand and suddenly our problems are all going to be magically fixed. I was infuriated when Mitch McConnell got up on his high horse and said that the top priority of the Republicans was to see that Obama was a one term president. This comment was probably two years ago or more. Shouldn't he have been saying that the top priority was jobs and the economy? Everything - EVERYTHING that Obama proposed was rejected out of hand by the congress since then. The end result of this horrendous obstructionism has been that we are in gridlock, and it sickens me that all the pols (yes - especially the Republicans) don't give a #$% about the country, rather only about their ideology and reelection. Please, open your eyes a little bit.

That obstructionism is being practiced in the Senate, as well. Here's a list of all the bills passed in the House that the Senate will not vote on.

AND the Senate hasn't passed a budget bill in THREE YEARS. Explain that, please.

The President CAN wave his magic wand, and tell Harry Reid to get to voting. But he won't, because he's all about HIS ideology and reelection.

So let's not pretend that both sides aren't playing the same game.

Please open YOUR eyes a little bit.

I've never seen anything like this before, thanks for posting it! I'll have to see if they have one for my cam, or one that would fit it.

That's a pretty good price. I'd buy one and try it out in the bathtub - with something other than the camera inside, of course.

If a group of women anchor their boat in a public waterway may they presume that their privacy is legally protected and that photographers are enjoined from photographing them?

Not necessarily.

It's no different than the privacy you expect in your home. If you're out in the yard or on an open porch, you have no reasonable expectation of privacy. However, if you're inside the home, you DO have a reasonable expectation of privacy, even if your curtains are wide open and you are visible from the street.

So if a woman on this boat is on deck, she knows she's in full view of the public - no expectation of privacy. If she's inside the cabin, she DOES have that expectation, even if she's visible from outside.

there was name calling....?

Started looking back through the thread, I see where Pop0904 called me "smart"...
I see where MisterWilson refers to the Republican party as the The FREE Party ... or The FREEdom Party ... or The FREE Dumb Party.
I can find Fat Gregory calling the esteemed Harry Ried "Dingy Harry"
Then you have Donrant refering to a select group of posters here as being "ignorant".
PigPen calls some "laughable" and others "minions".
wrr calls donrent "DonRant".
Carioca implies that I am "lazy"
...And I call Ryan "pretty boy"

I thought this thread had been kept fairly civil but you're right there has been some underhanded name calling going on...however, I fail to find the "Dems" that have resorted to name calling, perhaps you like to point them out for me...

I even added some highlights, to make it easier to understand. Does this answer your question?

And I didn't imply that you're lazy - I asked you outright. You didn't deny it, either.

The important question is whether Elements is doing everything YOU want it to do.

If it is, then the full version is a waste of money.

You should definitely move up to a newer version of Elements, though. Getting 9 will save you a lot of money, compared to 10.

Yes, you own them because the photos were taken on public property.

You should send samples to the band - they might just buy them from you, if they're good enough. And they could send more work your way.
