I can hear the water rushing! Beautiful shot,
Harley Earl is looking down and smiling. Nice work,
Nice shots. That second car would certainly get you to the Seven Eleven in johnny quick time.
Are there still issues with artifacts in a JPEG image?
The craters and the mountains in the upper right-hand area look like they are
in relief. Three dimensional. One of the best moon shots that I've seen.
Looking at them is like staring 250,000,000 years to the past.
Nice work.
You forgot to mention the Cuban Missle Crisis. Soviet ballistic missles 90 miles from U.S. territory.
That initiated a trade emboargo which, in my opinion has gone on far to long. As far as the autos go
you have to give the Cubans credit for their ingenunity in keeping that old iron running, I saw a progam
on Motor Trend channel once (?) There are these two guys who do goofy things with cars. One episode they
went to Cuba and drove a '58 Mercury. there was a mint looking '57 Chevy Nomad that had a Chinese diesel
powerplant and a Rusian rearend. I may have that reversed. Your photos that you took are really good.
Isn't that the natural curvature of the earth?
Is the unit pushed far enough forward on the hot shoe?
As an aside, The Church of Jesus Christ of the latter-day Saints does not operate
the historic temple. The Christ Community Church does that. They once called themselves
the Reformed Church of Christ of the latter-day Saints. They probably changed their name to avoid
confusion. Mormons seem to keep every record that they can like blue prints. They rebiut the original
village settlement in Kirtland.
There is also a train Museum in Conneaut Ohio which is the last town in Ashtabula countiy's N.E. corner.
There is a new R.R. Museum in Painesville Ohio. It's logically named The Painesville R.R. Museum.
Near Northeast PA is the Erie suburb or Borough of Wessleyville. GE has a factory that manufactures
diesel engines.
At Presque Isle there used to be kite flying clubs there at the tip of it.
Fun to watch. Back in Ohio, Mentor Headlands State Park and Mentor Marsh
offer photo ops. A couple miles east is the Fairport Harbor historic lighthouse.
South of Cleveland in the vicnity of The Cuyahoga Valley National Park is Brandywine Falls.
Northern Ohio may not have the grandeur vistas of the Appalacians or the Rocky Mountains but
there is a quiet understated beauty here. If you like water falls visit the town of Chagrin Falls
on the eastern edge of Cuyahoga Co. In Eastern Lake county there is Paine Falls. I hope you will have
an enjoyable time whatever attractions you may visit.
There is a guy on YouTube by the name of Carmine Taverna. He is a photojournalist of fifty
years. He is from Brooklyn N.Y.. He posts frequent videos he calls his photo classes. In his
class #291 he has a D60 that has been converted to infrared. He has examples of the photos taken with it.
He completly explains what he has done.
