Good shot! Great minds, we had "Fishy Soup" for New Years Eve including lobster tails as well. I have run across problems with the amount of liquid in quite a few recipes. I follow the rule "You can always add more" reduce the quantity or add more when in doubt. I'm certain it was delicious and next time will be perfect. Speaking of sticker shock - a small Prime Rib at Costco $100!!! I passed!

I love lobster bisque 👍👍. Prime Rib everywhere every year was through the roof. I buy a 7 bone standing rib roast every year. This year prime at Costco in NC was $340-$360. At Whole Foods in the past price ranged $$200.- $225 this year $ 378. $19 a pound $ 14 for prime members. Where is Santa when you need him

Comfort Food - new to me.

Thick or thin a very delicious meal . If you lave them thick try putting panko in a food processor until very fine coat meat as usual fry lightly till light golden then finish in the oven 375 5-7 minutes. Good for chicken as well . Chef Jean Pierre utube excellent finish imo

New Years Day

In the 1960s a traditional New Year’s dinner in our home was that my mother would make a big pot of soup and a fresh ham for the late awakening drunks.I’m now a little smarter and too old to drink that much but I tried to replicate New Year’s Eve dinner. Fresh ham stock mushrooms and grilled vegetables.Thanks for the look.

We are a big Pernil (Pulled Pork) household Christmas is a big Puerto Rican Pernil and gandules and rice favorite meal usually for a big grown . Your idea may work well for just my wife and myself looks delicious and a great variety of meals
