Erich,
This is a classic subject and view - but your capture of it has managed to “take the cake”. A magnificent image in more ways than I can count. I get part way thru the list but am subsumed by the beauty and mood.
Congrats!

A classy gaze! Self-assured; nothing anticipatory, nothing tentative!

Point Pleasant is a resort town on one side of town and a serious commercial fishing port on the other side. I just got my Rolleiflex back from some professional attention. Since the photo Center is close to Point Pleasant, I decided to load a roll of Illford and go for a walk along the commercial docks. Here are a few photos chosen to give you a feel for the town. All comments welcome.

Thanks, Erich,
Love this series! Great “sense of place”

Last night we had our first real amount of snow this winter season. So of course, I had to record it.

O.K., Frank, you get points for a snow scene containing something red (but I do especially like the second one!).

When you look at a photograph, do you look for the positive things in the photo first or do you look for things you think need corrected? I guess this is a glass half full or half empty question. Again, just curios.

Great question, Grandpa! One of the best thought-provokers in a long time!
I suspect responses will highly depend upon each individual’s personal shooting style. I, for example, am a “work-the-scene” shooter who always leaves some “free-board” all around to provide for creative cropping options that never never seem quite as obvious as I’d like when shooting! Many shots don’t get “worked”! A few get lotsa work!
