With a lifetime interest in aviation, I don't think I have ever seen a photo of that plane. Definitely NOT a biplane. It is pretty large for it's time.

Hi Folks:

My HP Officejet 5200 series printer has bitten the dust and I need to get another printer. Many here have suggested the Eco Tank printers from Epson. I am interested your collective thoughts as to which model I should consider. I print some photos and other colored objects along with the general b&w stuff. As others have suggested the cost of ink is going out of sight and the eco tank system may be a good, less expensive, option. Any thoughts, model numbers and why would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for the forthcoming information.

Hi Folks: br br My HP Officejet 5200 series print... (show quote)

Does HP have a printer that prints the size you need? I have been using an HP ENVY 5660 since it was a new model, but it only prints up to letter size photos. What I like where ink is concerned is the Instant Ink program HP has. When my ink starts to get low, they send me a new ink cartridge. Cost me $4.23 per month. It might be worth considering.

Interesting shots. I saw a couple of light houses repainted in California and the painters just rappelled down from the observation platform with their spray guns.

It would cost more to erect that scaffolding than to actually paint the tower. WOW!

I have been using a Hewlett Packard printer for at least five or six years. When I bought it at Office Max , a HP rep was there and I chatted with him a few minutes. He mentioned their Instant ink program. Their printer communicates with Hp via internet and when my ink starts to get low, it triggers a delivery of a new ink cartridge. This service costs me all of $4.23 a month. I started out at $10.00 a month but they said I wasn't using enough ink and they reduced my fee. Can you say I'm a happy camper?

It looks more like an AI generated picture to me. Not a photo. The water does not look like it was a photo.

This body style reminds me a lot of my Dad's 39 Buick. Grill is even similar.

But, the question is - is this a photograph? If it ws done with AI, then it is not. Still a very good image.

And today some of us are concerned about Global Warming from the use of Fossal fuels. That is a bunch of BS! I'm convinced that one good active volcano does more to affect the global temperature than all of the autos in the world. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it!!

Nice! Just a guess, '38-'41.

No way. My Dad had a '39 that I just about grew up in. He kept it for 19 years. When I learned to drive he sold it and I never got to drive it. It was long with big round fenders and had a straight 8 engine. Gook looking old car. This one pictured is a few + years older than a 39.

I would love to learn the history of that property. There must have been a tragic event within the family to cause the abandonment of a substantial piece of real estate. Wonder if there are any surviving family members. The no trespassing signs would indicate that there is some involvement

Snappin, I talked to the owner before I took any photos of this property. He lives across the street from it. It is in a very rural area. He said his Grandfather (or maybe his Great Grandfather) built the house right after the Civil War and he actually grew up in the house. He is an older gentleman so that is understandable. He did say the house has been vacant for over fifty years. He did warn me not to go inside. I would be afraid to even try that!

I think this shot may be something along the lines of what you were thinking about.

I have done that, and I agree. I think the photos with all of the foliage dead is perfect for the high contrast photos like you are considering.
