No reflection on you Don. Great shots, but I think this car is ugly...the color combination...the whale tail (even though I'm sure it's functional)...the black wheels (look like they were painted by a little kid). I know this is going to draw the ire of many viewers, but I really dislike this Corvette, immensely. I'm not talking about performance. I know that it's a world-class car, finally, and best bang-for-the-buck and all that, but I'm talking about curb appeal, to me. Yuck!!!!

I agree. Nice pics, performance is awesome...looks...not so much. Especially if I compare it to the XKE from yesterday, now that is a beautiful car or even the earlier Corvette from '53. The Stingray from '63 is also a beauty.
Nice shots. I have yet to see an auto with better lines than those older Jags. Of course I'm also partial to the Austin Healey 3000, Astin Martins and AC motorcars.
The Copper Museum is a must see in Clarkdale, AZ a few minutes south of Sedona. Unless you are determined to do the usual Sedona tourist shots go to Oak Creek Canyon, there is a huge side canyon called West Fork to park at the beginning and there are some unique photo ops that are not the usual me too shots of Sedona. The trail is pretty level and easy to walk. Walnut Canyon near Flagstaff is always great and of course a must see is Montezuma's Castle and Well, again easy walks from the visitor center. So much to do, so little time. Have fun, I really love northern AZ from my earliest memories as a child.

Going there next week for 5 days including one afternoon at White Sands for more sunset photos there. Any suggestions on "don't miss" hikes/shots. Thanks in advance.
Here are some of my pics from the Sunset Hike at White Sands, NM

I recommend the sunset hike at White Sands. Get there early it can get busy.
Actually we didn't see many jumping cholla. And those easterners didn't believe me when I warned about them!
I guess they have them in Big Bend but I don't remember. The ones I or my partner ran into while hiking were in the Rincon MT. outside of Tucson. He must have kicked one up with his shoe but it embedded into his ankle. Fortunately we always carry a multi tool and I had to use that to pull it off, they were stuck in that far.
