No reflection on you Don. Great shots, but I think this car is ugly...the color combination...the whale tail (even though I'm sure it's functional)...the black wheels (look like they were painted by a little kid). I know this is going to draw the ire of many viewers, but I really dislike this Corvette, immensely. I'm not talking about performance. I know that it's a world-class car, finally, and best bang-for-the-buck and all that, but I'm talking about curb appeal, to me. Yuck!!!!

AGREED! I like Corvettes in general, and even own a 2000 C5, but this generation of Vette (C8), does absolutely nothing for me! I can appreciate all of the technical “nice-ities” that went into making it, but I don’t even bother to look at them when I go to car shows. I could go on and on, but we’ll just leave it right there.

I also agree great pictures of a look alike euro sports car. I own a C5 Vette from the time when GM dared to be different, stand out in the crowd with great looks and performance at a semi affordable price.

I agree. Nice pics, performance is awesome...looks...not so much.
Especially if I compare it to the XKE from yesterday, now that is a beautiful car or even the earlier Corvette from '53.
The Stingray from '63 is also a beauty.

I'm with nimbushopper, Best Corvette ever. I also think that color should never be on a Corvette.

I suppose I’m just a Luddite but this design is just too visually cluttered. Too Star Warsy for my taste. I like smooth and sleek, and a shifter to grab hold of.
