The last thing you want to do to an expensive steak is overcook it.
I cook to near 125 degrees F and let it rest for several minutes.
I found a nice NY strip steak at Whole Foods and had an avocado
that had just reached ripeness. Served with rice and beans and
sauteed red pepper and onion. No complaints.

I have no doubt that you believe that, however you are ignorant of US history then.
Nothing I have said is untrue.
I think I am going to go back to film.
The founding principles of America are in the US Constitution. Things like the right
to be armed, free speech, free press etc. If christian principles were meant to be a
founding concept of America I believe it would have been written into the constitution.

The significance is that the US was founded on Christian principles and the phrase “under God” goes back to Lincoln...its a direct quote.
Thats the significance.
The U.S. Constitution is a wholly secular document. It contains no mention of Christianity or Jesus Christ. In fact, the Constitution refers to religion only twice in the First Amendment, which bars laws "respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof," and in Article VI, which prohibits "religious tests" for public office. Both of these provisions are evidence that the country was not founded as officially Christian.

Under God was added to the pledge in 1954 to stick it to those Godless C****es. It was a political, rather than a religious act.
There is nothing the matter with being godless.

You mean God?
No, I mean god. Or, perhaps I should say gods.

I would like to have it included but for their marketing I can understand why they did it. At least the 3 periods lets the reader know there is more to the saying than what is printed.
To many people god is non-existent or completely insignificant. I for one would like to have the term removed from the pledge of allegiance.
I think it is tilted. Check your horizon.

I like it. How'd you do that?
I used Lightroom. After cropping I added some black,
adjusted the white and highlight sliders to get some
texture in the sand but still keep it light. I lowered
the shadow slider to show more detail in the sky and
increased the clarity slider which increased the contrast
in the midtone values. Lastly, I used the vignette to
darken the border of the picture.
Can we download and play with it??
