I am looking for a "small" , light camera bag for my D750 and 28-300.....to use to give a bit of protection when camera/lens are being carried inside my back pack I have looked at MegaGear but can't tell if 28-300 would fit. Doesn't need to have room for other stuff.

we are going on a family vacation to the Galapagos over Xmas. I'll take my D750 and 28-300 lens. I am thinking that will be just fine. But, is there another lens that I should seriously think about buying??? thanks

I just returned from a trip using my RX100. I downloaded my SD card into LR. All "seemed" to be going well so I, perhaps prematurely, pulled the SD card from the computer and reformatted it. THEN....I got a message from LR that some of the images couldn't be imported. Of course....stupid on my part to reformat.

As a result I am not sure whether I prematurely pulled the card from the desktop...or the card is bad.....

So.....

Is there a way to retrieve photos from the SC card.

Is there a way to check the card to see if it has problems....and should be trashed.

Other ideas....other than calling me an idiot.

it looks to me that Auto ISO isn't available in the M mode......?????

to D750 folks....a related question.....I'd like to set my aperture and shutter and let the camera set the ISO.......but Auto ISO isn't available in the M mode.......is there a way to do this? thanks
