I am looking for a "small" , light camera bag for my D750 and 28-300.....to use to give a bit of protection when camera/lens are being carried inside my back pack I have looked at MegaGear but can't tell if 28-300 would fit. Doesn't need to have room for other stuff.

....thanks for any help

Check dimensions of Lowepro 160. Not sure if it will be adequate with that lens combination.

Looks are deceiving on the websites. I can assure you it is a small bag. I own it. It can definitely be configured to hold that body. Just not sure about the lens. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/563922-REG/Lowepro_LP35248_PEU_Nova_160_AW_Shoulder.html

Look at the Vanguard Up-Rise II 15Z.
Will fit your combo perfectly, unless you add a battery grip.

Been using one of these for over 6 years. Costs about $35.

That appears to be a good sized bag. Seems the OP wants something small.

Take a look at the Dakine DSLR camera bag at backcountry.com. I'be had it for a while and really like the size. It easily holds my D7100 with 300 mm zoom and two other lenses. Also expandable . Very compact. Not pricey, but well made. And padded.

You live in Naples, FL. The best advise I can give is get off your duff, go to a store that sells cameras/equipment (i.e., Best Buy, Walmart, and the like) and look at the bags yourself. You should be able to find one that fits your needs.

Great suggestion. A lot better than mine. I may pick one of those up myself.

All things considered, that was the best I could do. :~)
