Another good example of how fine the smart phone cameras are turning out to be.
You may find it easier to function while hiking with a Bridge Camera. Nikon P950 would be a good choice with the great reach of its lens. I have a P900 (earlier version of the 950) and it is what I take when out in the wilds.

Talking just photography processing, compared to many 3D pics posted, this 3D conversion is a fine one.
Can I politely recommend that all the Smartphone Camera doubters go over to this site's thread on Smartphone Cameras and cycle through the various posters contributions. You probably will not be a convert, but you will have to admit some admiration -- that is if you are a fair person.
For us true photo enthusiasts, probably the iPhone camera, even the model 14 coming up with the 47 mp camera, will never really be the "be all" for us. But, one cannot deny the fact that, in our normal daily iphone carry, we now always have a camera with us. Maybe 27/7? And we cannot deny that the iPhone camera system continues to get better.
I suggest that anyone, maybe everyone, should take a course in using their Phone camera. (Apple or Android) There are numerous helpful videos on YouTube. The Great Courses website has a wonderful course on Understanding and Using your Phone camera. And I am sure a Google Search will find many more. That way, when we use it, for whatever reason, we will be using it at our best.

While most of us looking in on UHH fined the smartphone camera "lacking" for our interests/uses/purposes in photography, it is nice to know we generally always have a camera in our pocket at all times now, isn't it?
P.S. anyone heard anything about the rumor that the iPhone 16 will have a 24mp camera?? Also Popular Photography has an interesting article entitled,"Is it time to say good-buy to the Compact Camera?!" Might be worth a read if the subject of this thread interests you.
Sorry to hear of your problem, Carolyn. I have a couple of those ZS cameras and they have always performed admirably. Hopefully you bought it new and still have some warranty available on it??
