#1, the bird in #1 is sharper and shows more detail, #2 is slightly soft over all.

Thanks, #2 was quite a bit further away and was cropped much more.

I went a long time before I got a good shot at a Cardinal that wasn’t on a feeder. Suddenly, I got shots two days in a row. Which do you like most?

Well... that was an awesome catch. <3 If a person had enough time, the Audubon tour would definitely be worth it. You were certainly ready to capture it!

I'll attach a few of Mr. Peacock and a couple of the area I spent more time in ... for those who might not realize what a treat the place is on so many levels. Beautiful! <3 I took a micro 4/3rds camera (Lumix G85) and am still working out the bugs from my RAW editing skills... but I hope it lets people know what sorts of things are there in addition to the swamp. It was overcast the day we visited and even rained a little, which was probably a good thing for lighting. It's just that our time there wasn't during the most optimal for photo taking.

Beautiful photos. I have a family membership but don’t go to Magnolia often except in Springtime as I live 60 miles away

I visited Magnolia Plantation at the end of March! <3 I didn't take the swamp tour though. We only had a couple of hours there and I'm more of a garden/flowers person. What a great photo you captured!

Did you get any of Mr. Gregarious Peacock at the front entrance? He was schmoozing with the crowd the whole time we were there. ;-)

I took about 40 shots and thought I had selected the best one. Earlier this week I looked back through them and presto I found this one. Most of the others included mom and dad. Didn’t get the peacock.

Took this shot back in April and accidentally overlooked it. I discovered it a couple of weeks ago. I like it so much I decided to post it even though it’s a little out of season.

An edited version of a photo I previously posted. This version has the distracting limbs and leaves removed from around the eagle’s body. An improvement???

$2240 for both items. Retail price for the lens is $3299 and for the TC is $849.95 or $4148.99 for the pair. I am offering both for almost half original price. Both come with original boxes and all manuals, cases and other items originally included. Both are in immaculate condition with absolutely no abrasions, scratches, or blemishes. They have been on the camera only twice and have never been exposed to the elements. I am selling because of shoulder issues which required me to lighten up my gear. I will cover shipping and insurance in CONUS. PayPal preferred. PM me for additional information.

Originally there were two chicks in this nest but one disappeared. Only this punk rocker left.

Congrats, Cly on such a beautiful image!

Thank you so much. When I started photography six years ago I dreamed of someday taking a photo on par with this one and I surprised myself.

Is this always the female who does this?

No, The male builds the nest and then sits on a limb near it and performs a proud dance to attract the female.
