Yes, nurses are on the front lines, constantly dealing with patients, while doctors make an occasional visit to patients. They do most of the work but get very little credit.
For over 25 years, I dealt with hiring and retaining nurses in the US and overseas. There were miserable stories that I both witnessed and heard about. In no way could I imagine what they are experiencing now. I have always had respect for them, but nowhere near how immensely I feel about them today.
For a variety of reasons, I use my D7100 and D300 in fully manual settings. But I would not want to purchase something now that did not have all of the frills and technical advances these cameras possess. It is all about flexibility: If I do want to use the advanced settings and such, it is there at my fingertips. Having the options means I am not completely painted into a corner, either way.
This is an old, and not very good photo, at that. But it conveys a sense of what Motherhood is all about! Thank all of you out there that have endured the joys and pain of being a Mother!!!
So, the US and other countries are ready to play Russian roulette with their citizens in the name of economy and political advantage.
I find nothing wrong with that, absolutely nothing.
In principal, I see nothing wrong with what you say. In practice, particularly because so many people are carrying the disease without exhibiting symptoms, it is not just the idiots out there that are affected, but those that are trying to distance themselves but may be infected by others with little regard for protective behavior. Like health care workers that have no say in treating patients, whether or not they are infected through their own acts of stupidity. I believe anyone that wants to disregard social distancing should be required to sign an affidavit stating they refuse treatment, if they become ill from COVID.
