I meant canon not camera in the last reply...poor alice
There are no camera stores near me; a thing of the past in this area. So I am going to call camera and see what they have to say. Maybe send it in or maybe wait from the sx60. thanks for everyone trying to help me...poor alice
I put another full charge battery in it and took out the menory card, and put another in. that's not the problem. Everything acts like it is jam-up. I would try to reset it, but I can not use the menu. what the hell did i do?
My SX50 was doing just fine, until last night and now I can not do the functions and menu wouldn't come up. It started when the sensor frame (i think that's what you call it) as I was getting ready to take a picture showed a yellow frame in the center with an explanation mark, than everything just quit working!!!! I could not find anything on line or in the manual. Help!!
why not just take a bag of rice or the popcorn and let it in the plastic sack and that way if you forget your "beanbag" just find a grocery store. poor alice
If you could pick one book that inspired or taught you more about photography, which book would it be? I have many books on the subject of photography and software, but none of them would make me go back into burning house to grab.

well, since I am really busy with the alpacas, I am only going to educate myself on the 18-55 lens. Let you know how that goes. Poor Alice
thanks, going in to the yard and see if I can see the difference in the two lenses. poor alice
Happy in California and trying to educate myself on using a camera. Now don't laugh, but I have never had a "real" camera and everything is foreign to me. I got a used Nikon 3100D and, I think, it is working just fine and it came with the 2 standard lenses. Would someone explain what the lenses are suppose to do. I put one on and it is not much different than a point and shot; the two lenses look the same to me. (18-55 and 55-200)
