Mdom...and how do I go about registering with the copyright office...please elaborate...to many answers and not enough details makes for a confusing investigation to my question. thank you all for your help in this matter. Im not a professional, I wont make millions, but the thought of my hard work or fun being used for someone else to profit from kinda pisses me off. I was unaware of this until a few days ago. I just dont want others using my stuff unless they have permission. People can be corrupt and I hate that. I would never do that unless I had permission. Thats all Im saying. And if its dangerous or anything then why do others do it? Im so confused.

I have a question...with all the google thats going on...and my husband and I that love to take photos and post them...to share on my blog and here...to post on Facebook...how do I prevent someone from copying them for themselves? Im sure its to late for the ones already out there but I would really like to prevent it from happening. Hoe do I get the Copyright logo and my name on the bottom of my photos while posting online? Any clues? Suggestions....HELP PLEASE!

absoulutly sailorsmom!! If I ever get that wonderful chance I surely will!! We love them...we sit and watch for hours as they fly and play....show off and interact with us....they chirp and let my husband or visitors know they are to close to me and disturbing their special time. Spring and summer I love...with our back deck in full swing full of flowers for them to choose from...its a wonderful thing in a little body that is magical!

thank you! Love my hummers! Daily occurance here at our home....they protect me and chitter if others are around....I sing to them, feed them...and they let me get about 1ft away...my next step is to hand feed! ;0)

What a special surprise that is! How great for you to have added guests at your home! I love them. Avid watchers and feeders...they are great and very protective ...(me) when they come around year after year! Great set of pictures...Never seen that before...only could wish that I would be so lucky myself one day!! Of course all the shots I popped off were when they arrived in February...with my Canon point and shoot. Now I have my bigger Canon and preoccupied with other things...but I will post when I get clearer shots with that one!!! Arent they so cool to watch!Happy Shooting! ;0)

first one is Macro shot...no adjustments...2nd I believe is 5/6 and the 3rd is f18 I really played hard with these...thanks guys I will try more!

I took some advice and played with the fstop here. I notice some difference...I also did a close up of what my subject was. I am a 18-55mm. Of course this limits my shooting capabilities but until I get it down...I so am comfortable with learning one lens at a time! Do you have any you would like to share? Any other suggestions? I love them....let me know what you think!
