The repubs need to learn to fight dirty? They wrote the book on fighting dirty -- dirty tricks, misinformation, demonizing the opponent, outright lies, name-calling. Politics in general is quite dirty enough already.
Well, almost nobody. When I first looked, nobody had yet posted a reply.
I read the article with interest and even had a glimmer of understanding about what was being discussed. Too bad it seems it well be a very long time before these issues are resolved.
And I'm not surprised that nobody else on UHH responded.
Thanks for posting.
When I saw all the signatories were D's, I suspected yet another dirty trick (based on misinformation) from the R's. Why not fact-check such e-mails before becoming outraged and forwarding them and asking others to do the same.
Very nice capture. I managed a similar capture of a nest-building GBH at very low altitude.

Oh yes, the televangelists. Send your money to Jesus, but use my address.
Hilary Clinton never said, "What difference does it make that four Americans are dead." Why do you continue to misconstrue this? It's just more lying and more dirty tricks and you know it. The Secretary was clearly only referring to the source of the attack -- a spontaneous mob reacting to a video or an organized terrorist attack. Either way, it doesn't change the tragic outcome and, of course, anyone knows (including HC) it needs to be investigated. Why would anyone as savvy as Hilary Clinton say it doesn't matter that four Americans were killed?
Alan West a "well-spoken, intelligent" man? How did you come to this conclusion. I am clueless here. Many of the posts here leave me feeling, let's say, incredulous.
Looks very much like the cover of this month's National Geographic.
I am attaching my photograph of a mullet jump. I thought the splash was worth something.
Missed Mullet Jump
Another interesting fact: Kestrels can hover in place while looking for prey. Interesting to see, if you get the chance.
This is a quite widely distributed speech that was never given. Do your homework before posting. Our discourse should not be completely divorced from facts.
My favorite short sentence from this site: "I love cat's to."
And it's not just grammar and spelling that are important. The difference between the right word and almost the right word can be enormous.
Here are my entries -- one recent, one not so recent: Brown Pelican and Florida Big Sky (Lake Myakka).

Here' my entry. I guess it meets the criteria. It's a nest-building great blue heron at extreme low altitude.
