Although the loss rate is dropping, an average of 1,566 shipping containers have been lost at sea every year for the past fifteen years. Imagine hearing that your product is shipping from the East, and then hearing that the container holding it fell into the sea. There must be millions of dollars' worth of good on the floor of the oceans.

Many items are impervious to sea water. For example - https://www.npr.org/2011/03/29/134923863/moby-duck-when-28-800-bath-toys-are-lost-at-sea

Not to mention the pollution in the ocean. If ships full of cars etc aren’t bad enough, now containers.
Authorities should be made to remove them. Ships too should be salvaged, but they go back a long time.
The “Out of sight, Out of Mind” attitude seems to be the go. Where are the arrogant Greenies????.

This pair of images show the same young lady under two different lighting modes. One is 'normal' ( one of my very first nudes ) and the other is using the slide projector. One of these has been previously posted long ago. From my PlusX Archive of Olde circa late 70s.

WHAAATTS THAT.?? The first ones not bad, but #2 ain’t no recognisable nude.

We see here a pair of images of the same lass taken days apart. One at the beach and the other in the hills. That latter one had a similar pose posted earlier. I discovered these two whilst crawling around in the directories of Stuff and realied that it would be fun to post each of them. From that Archive . . .

Wouldn’t mind being the parrot on her shoulder.

Another of the young lady in the stream. This pose, a "bit much," is of her doing. From that PlusX Archive of Olde circa late 70s.

It’s certainly more interesting, society has become dehumanised with all this paranoia about nudity? We were all born nude, what’s the big deal. Covering up such beautiful bodies, the covering up of Nipples, the most natural life giving part of the nurturing mother. Prudish society has a psychological problem.
The nude female form is that way to attract the male attention.

A young fellow at my church, 5 or 6 years old is my biggest fan. Every week he asks me if I have any spider pictures for him. I usually print a close-up or macro image on 4x6. This week I didn't have one but I told him that I was splitting firewood and when I brought out my splitter there was a big fat spider on one of the wheels. I went in the house to get my camera but of course when I got back out the spider was gone. Without missing a beat he told me I should always keep my camera with me. Sage advise.

With smart phones of today, there’s no excuse for no camera present. They take pretty good pics, even if they aren’t Nat Geo quality. Great record.

We all know that there are thousands of satellites circling the earth, and probably millions of pieces of space junk orbiting with them. This is becoming a problem for astronomers. The SpaceX satellites - more than 4,200 so far - are especially distracting because there are so many of them, and they are so bright. Efforts to make them less bright haven't been successful. There have been efforts to require all satellites to include a way to de-orbit them, but launchers aren't cooperating. It's more technology and more weight.

It's funny how everything that humans do causes problems.

It’s only a matter of time when space junk will be falling out of the sky, on ppl, like other types of pollution. Plastic in the oceans EG. Till then, out of sight, out of mind. Then it’s a scramble to address it!!?

I’ve noticed that most of the Attic posters are single minded arrogant folks. I have been accused of some of that in my young days, but years teach us that it’s not our place to try & change ppls opinion, it only raises conflict.
I’ve learnt to mind my own business generally, but occasionally I just can’t bite my tongue, & open my mouth.
If nothing else, it vents my frustration. I rarely read the Attic, it’s always the same old vitriol from the same old ppl.
There’s still good reading in the other sections. Nudity section seems to be rather quiet for a while now, sadly.

I was on Loop 820, on my way home behind an ambulance. Oddly I noticed a small metal box sitting on the back bumper. When the ambulance turned the corner, the box flew off and landed on the curb. I thought, it's time to be a good Samaritan, so I pulled over and retrieved it. When I opened it, there was a human toe packed in an ice bag. Holy smoke, I thought! So I called Methodist Hospital and they said, yes, the ambulance had arrived without the box. I gave them my location and asked if they were going to send another ambulance to collect it? The lady replied, "No, we'll just send a toe truck." Please don’t ban me, I don’t get out much.

Do you use a dash cam, and if so which one?

My son’s Suburban was side swiped last week which caused it to jump the curb and hit a stop sign, damaging the front as well as the driver’s side. The other car drove off, but my son’s GoPro (older model) captured everything including the offender’s license tag. The police used the information to track down the other vehicle and assign blame for the accident, but said they couldn’t ticket the other car because they couldn’t prove who was driving (???). If it hadn’t been for the dash cam, my son would have been screwed.

Since running stop signs and lights and 15+ mph over the limit on city streets in my city has become SOP, I’m thinking, as much as I hate the idea of a dangling cord down the dash, maybe I should consider one in addition to my usual ultra defensive driving. Looking for recommendations.

I have one & it’s worth its weight in gold. I’ve had numerous close shaves, it records the action very well. It also shows your speed too, in case it can incriminate you. But the ability to review the action in slow mo, has amazed me. I would love to have a rear view one too. More folks should be aware of what is behind them too.
Awareness is important.
