That shot tells the story of "cold." Good job!
I gasped when I saw your beautiful shot of a turritella. I began collecting shells in 1964 and my appreciation continues. Are you a collector or do you just appreciate beauty?
I read them all. Thank you. Snippets like these keep us connected to real life. We should look for the good in every day God gives us.
Yes. You have a good eye. Did you take the rock home with you?
Creative and skillfully put together. These shots will surely be treasured. Will you also frame this as a family keepsake?
I particularly enjoyed the turkeys. We have a lot of wild turkeys in south Georgia but I have never seen pictures from the angles you have captured. Great accomplishment! The crane's expression in #3 is so funny. She seems to be saying, "Don't get in my way!"
d3200prime, you have spoken the t***h. I say, "Amen."
A trip like that has been on my bucket list. Now age has crept in and it will not happen. I particularly enjoyed the colorful urchins in #5 and the volute in #8. Thank you so much for posting some of your memories. I would like to see more. My husband was stationed in Guam for nearly 3 yrs. and I fell in love with the warm, crystal clear water inside the reef. That was 1963 and I still miss the island as it used to be.
Yes, download is necessary. What a view. I can smell freedom and fresh air. Thank you.
I have only seen Puffins on land on two trips to the Maritime Provinces. Thank you so much for the lesson. I was spell-bound. Was hoping to see him take a fish home with him.
I looked at the pictures before I read your post. Thought surely that you had come up with a very new PP technique. Yes, I thought they were mature trees. Fascinatingly beautiful!
Seeing pictures of these ancient Viking ships was a treat. I have stood on the spot where it is believed Vikings made their first landing in Newfoundland but I will never get to Oslo. Thank you for this post.
Thank you, Christina, for your comments and especially for picture #2. As I looked at that shot, I could almost smell fresh, cool air.
I have just added this canyon to my bucket list. Hope to go there this fall. Your pictures are an inspiration to hike and reflect and shoot. Thanks.
Ed, you are a master when it comes to flowers. I am awed by your ability to capture such beauty. Just proves once again that the eye and imagination behind the camera are the most important ingredients.
