Young and old, male and female Desert Bighorn Sheep were on the Colorado National Monument on a cold morning with lots of snow. The road was surprisingly open from one end of the 19-mile Rim Rock Drive to the other end. The sun would peek through the fog at times giving me some great light on the sheep. It was a great morning to be a photographer in Colorado.

Wow! What absolutely gorgeous pictures, each and every one.
Thank you for saying so! I love getting photos of the wild horses.

Beautiful images - love them all.
Thank you! I thought they turned out well. Having sunny days helped. Hard to get moving shots when it's cloudy in the Basin.

These are great photos! Not usually a fan of B&W but I think that's a perfect choice.
Thank you! I love B&Ws but rarely print them out anymore. This one took 1st in the Veterans Creative Arts Festival here in western Colorado last week. Someone must have liked it as well. :)

May I ask how you located the Outhouse watering hole? So many roads going every direction I see how easy it could be to get lost!
Oh, my, it isn't easy. Went with a friend and drove for a few hours down different roads and all wrong. It isn't marked. Its 2052. The BLM office has better maps than the ones you fond locally, aybell that is.
Go up 67, 126 to 52w, go past the bturn for 80 and I think it is like the third road to the right after hwy 80. High clearance and watch for the few humps in the road. There is a shed and the outhouse watering hole is down the hill after you pass the shed. My husband put the coordinates in his phone. Left me know if you need a more accurate description. Donna
