The Ram Moniker for Dodge came from the early 60s when the biggest competition on the 1/4 mile strip in Michigan was Hodges Dodges vs Ram Chargers, which got its name from the late 50s Chrysler Hemi engine (341) with either a full ram intake manifold with updraft 4 Bbls or a short ram with down draft 4 Bbls as was also put on the 341s and carried over to the 413s in 61.

I would suggest that you download a copy of PaintShopPro X9 and try it for a month. Their trial software is complete and does not limit you in any way. While you are at it, you can also download a 30 day copy of Aftershot Pro3 to give you full and complete RAW manipulation. If, after 30 days, you like it, it will cost your less than $80 to keep - for both the PSP and AfterShot Pro3. Most PS plugins will work in PSP.

There is nobody like yourself to tell you what you like or dislike.

Note: I have used PSP since version 0.1 (mid 1980s) when it was a format change tool (GIF <>JPG<>TIFF). I believe it is on par with Photoshop and I believe Aftershot is better than Light Room - but that is me - maybe not you, how would I know?

Someone has to say it - DO NOT LOOK THRU THE VIEWFINDER AT THE SUN. Of course, you will only do it once.

If you go to an astronomy site, you can find a source for a bader film filter for your camera or instructions on how to make one. I have made Bader Film filters for my old 500 mm cat lens as well as my 8 inch and 10 inch telescopes. I think from there, I would meter on the sky away from the sun (next to the moon) and bracket +/- 2 stops. You may want to look into a Hydrogen-alpha filter as well - a 62 mm one is about $100, but they give a great image of the sun and will enhance the flares or CMEs of our sun.

were it me, I would put a piece of black tape over the viewfinder and use the live view screen - even with a filter. But, then, I am rather fond of my eyes....

The monopod should put the camera at eye level. If it were I, I would use a straight mount - with out a motion head. Tilt and pan the pod. the tilt will be minimal from this side to other side of the field, and the pan will give good up and down field control. If you typically include space around your action, you may be able to drop the viewfinder level to chin height and area point by aiming over the top of the camera - this will allow you to see big tackles flying your way - you and I are too old to get out of the way, but at least we will know they're coming.

1 Remember that all rules shall be broken

2 The one way sign IS the object of your picture, whether you want it to be or not.
2a The arrow forces your eyes out of the picture ( I wonder how many people without looking know what the other sign said?)

3 If the one way sign is your object, it would be better if it were pointing into the picture

I have included a chopped photo - look at where your eyes go when the arrow is pointing into the frame (now you see the other sign). I am not saying you should do this to your photo, but frame your shots with arrows pointing into the frame, moving objects moving into the frame with enough room so they don't take your gaze out of the frame

finally, reread point #1

Tie a tourniquet around the circumference of the tire and tighten it until the tire engages the rim, then pump it up. Note that boat trailer tires may require up to 90 psig and if you only fill it to 25 or 30 psig, a good bump and knock it loose from the rim. Max pressure in the tire sidewall should be guide.

OBTW, I use only LD Inks in my printer and do not have problems related to ink. I think that whether Canon, or LD, or other brand, you are worse off to mix brands than to use a single off brand. I have bought from Amazon and directly from LD at the same cost.

EtOH is not Isopropyl - it is Ethyl Alcohol. My body does not tolerate EtOH real well, but when I am dealing with clogged printer heads, I think about it a lot.

Actually, I would think the EtOH may work better than Isopropyl as it is a lighter, more aggressive alcohol and is more likely to dissolve both polar and non-polar compounds; it also dissolves better in water and so will remove the water from the electronics much faster.

WRT half full canon cartridges, try pushing the Okay button when the printer says it is out of ink and it is not. Mine will continue to print until you can see through the bottom of the cartridge.

When you erase an image, you scratch its name out of the Table of Contents, leaving all the 0s and 1s behind. When you format, you erase the table of contents. I always perform a low level format, in camera to write a zero into each storage location and truly clean the entire storage system.
