I liked the Z6 a lot. My only question is about how its viewfinder would be in a studio environment using strobes. We take light meter readings of the strobe output, put the camera is manual mode, and enter the readings from the light meter. We typically use settings around ISO100, f/8, and 1/125 second. This results in a very dark viewfinder because it's WYSIWYG. I found out after I shipped the camera back to LensRentals that I should have tried setting d8: Apply Settings to Live View. Someone here on UHH told me that I should have set d8 to off. That would have allowed me to brighten the viewfinder.
I found that the Z6 autofocus is not as good as the AF in my D500. It would often hunt in low light, zooming back and forth trying to acquire focus. My D500 would acquire focus on the same subject right away. The Z6 has a low light focusing mode but it slows down the AF. I thought that the image quality of the Z6 and my D500 are equal.
I think I will have to rent the Z6 one more time for more testing.

About the focussing were using an older lens with adapter or a new lens like the 24-70 f4 for the z series?
