A variety of birds, large and small.The pink Galah's are parent and young feeding. Galah's are the most appropriately named birds as their antics are always a source of wonderment. Feeding the young is no exception with much squawking and flapping of wings, by both birds, the job somehow gets done. It is near impossible to capture a Galah in flight as they dip and weave for no apparent reason.
The little pied cormorant, on the other hand, is an excellent swimmer and rarely surfaces without a fish. The trick here is to know where one will surface.
The Yellow breasted robin is a very early riser and has a call far in excess of it's size. In the bush you will be a wake well before dawn thanks to this little fellow.
The White Plumed Honeyeater is from western Queensland and that's about all I know of it.

Sacramento Wildlife Refuge, Nikon D500, with Nikon 200-500 f/5.6 lens very early in morning. Shot from car into ditch where egret was hunting. I had no control over background, other than camera settings, nor was I able to get out of the car. Shot at 1/2000 and f/5.6. Processed in LR and PS. I think an appropriate title could be "Yum, Yum." Actually I've learned that egrets, and most likely other similar birds, simply gulp their victims whole and alive, not a nice thought! This bug suffered that fate.
