What part of limited space do folks not comprehend?!
Yes, the Pixma Pro 10 and Pixma Pro 100 are great printers, I know, I have one of each but they are also large printers and the OP specifically stated, limited space. That is why I recommended the Canon TS-9020. It is less than half the size of the larger Pixma Pro printers. It prints up to 8.5 X 11 photo prints. It prints all type of paper. It's photo prints quality is incredibly good. The ink cartridges aren't outrageously expensive and if one is into black and white prints, it is second to none. The TS-9020 is my general purpose and small photo prints printer and I couldn't be happier with it.

Just to be clear.........I have no problem with the service of FedEx; my problem was with the customer service. Every company should have a phone number where you can call and talk to a person to answer a question or to solve a problem.
The above phone number did work; why don't they list the number on their web site?

They do. I went to the FedEx Web site and found the customer service phone number,1-800-CallFedEx in about 5 seconds, it's on the customer support home page. There is nothing wrong with their web site.

I would buy the new D7500. The reason is because it has fewer pixels than the D7200. By reducing the pixel count, they're able to make the pixels larger. That's good for a variety of reasons - camera shake is less evident, focusing issues are less evident, diffraction will not be evident as soon when stopping down the aperture. The pixel well capacity almost doubled when they went from 24.2 megapixels to 20.9 megapixels.

Don't bother with either the D7200 or D7500, get the D500. It is simply a superior camera to both its siblings.

I am guessing that Canon has been burned too many times from credit card fraud/identity theft and is trying to cut down on losses from such.

Based on my recent experience I'd speculate part of the problem is in the software they use. Human error is also a major factor and when one combines the two, results are unpredictable. I couldn't pay online and I couldn't correct the address error they had on file.
I spoke to a customer service rep on Friday morning around 10:30. They corrected the address error and processed my payment.
I received an email later Friday afternoon notifying me my lens repairs were complete and there was a FedEx tracking number; my lens was on its way home. FedEx delivered it Monday morning.

Go with Canon and go to B and H. Mark 5D is greater quality than Sony. Only problem it eats up sd cards (131 with raw an jpg) and drains batteries more than the Mark D4. I have used the Sony's for many years including the full frame A900 and would not ever go to Sony. My wife says then same thing.

I guess some responders missed the part about size. Yes, the Pixma Pro 100 is a good printer, for photo prints only, but it is the exact same size as the Pixma Pro 10 and that is a fairly large printer. I have both. I also have a Canon TS-9020 printer that produces excellent quality 8.5 X 11 and down color and black and white photo prints. It may be used hard wired or wireless. You may print directly from certain cameras to the printer wirelessly. The ink cartridges are not outrageously expensive. The printer has a very small footprint and Canon currently has them on sale for $150 and, they come in at least three different colors, black, white and red. Who would want a red printer!?
What it has going for it is size, cost and high quality prints and it does a pretty good job on plain paper documents also.

Interesting questions; you may do whatever you feel is necessary for you. I see no problem with shooting both raw and jpeg and if you want to store both raw and jpeg from the camera on your mass storage device, again, totally up to you. I personally store raw, from the camera jpeg and processed jpeg files on my computer. If I need to delete old files from the computer, the first ones to go are the from camera jpeg files. As far as formatting your cards, again, up to you. Formatting the cards simply rebuilds the master file on the card. The master file keeps track of where everything on the storage card is located and whether the space is used or free to use. Most often you are told to format the cards in the same device you will be using them in but in reality, this is not necessary. Why? Because the logarithms used to do the format are standardized and the file structure is the same regardless of which camera you format it in. I use cards I've formatted in my Canon 5DSr in my Nikon D500 and my Canon 7D II and my Nikon D7200 and my Canon 80D and my Canon 5D IV and I have no problem with the cards or the data on them. Two ways of freeing up the space quickly is to move the files from card to computer or format the card each time you put it back in the camera.

Different strokes for different people. I would not buy a camera with 475,000 or 325,000 shutter count.

I certainly would if the price was right and they were in good working condition. Shutters are fairly easy to replace and non moving parts rarely wear out.

My cameras are tools and I treat them as tools. I take care of my tools because I want them to last but I certainly don't baby them, they are tools. I try not to abuse my tools but sometimes I find myself in a situation where it can't be avoided. When this happens I make sure my tools are serviced as quickly as possible. I buy Top of the line tools because I don't want to worry about them failing or not being up to the job at hand. Use your tools as they were intended to be used and take proper care of them and they will service you for a very long time. Coddle them and you limit them and yourself. Abuse them and suffer the consequences.

The limited information you provided makes answering your question difficult.

However the Nikon D500 camera coupled with the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR lens is a wonderful combo for wildlife.

I can verify that. I have that camera and lens and am very happy with the combo. New, that would cost you roughly 3200 to 3400 USD depending on where you bought it.

Had the 18-200, sold it for a profit. Don't have the 18-400 but have done extensive research, or as extensive as could be done on such a new lens, and am definitely going to get one as a general purpose walkabout lens for my Nikon's. I'd have one now but I needed the money I had budgeted for a new lens to get my Canon 28-300L repaired so, back to saving. Maybe Tamron will run a promotional sale around the holidays. Oh I so do hope so...

Do you want to stick with a bridge camera or are you open to interchangeable lens camera? Do you have a brand preference or does manufacturer not matter? Do you have a set budget or is cost not a major factor? Answer those three questions and the forum will definitely be able to advise you on the ideal camera or cameras to choose from.

I'd go with the D500; it has almost twice the resolution of the D300, does 4K video and has an amazing auto focus system. The D500 is one of the best crop sensor cameras available today and it is very well built. Your D300 has served you well for at least 9 years and will continue to serve as a good back up or second camera. If you're happy with your D300, you will be ecstatic with the D500.
I personally shoot primarily Canon but I really like my D500, once I got use to Nikon's less than intuitive ergonomics. It really is a great camera...
