Those are called Cleco pins and they are inserted into drill holes on two mating parts to keep them in perfect alignment during the riveting process.

Never saw that before, makes sense, Thankyou.

Nice shots. Great detail, I didn't know how complex those things are!
What are all the " pins" on what I think is the engine cowling?

First thought, could You PP the photo to get what you want?
I don't have enough experience to help on that, but it might be an avenue.
Second thought, this photo is so close to being a great shot that I would try over and over. This is one not to give up on!
I know the big moons are once a month at best but the shot will be back, and when it is I might even spill some of my popcorn accidently on that rock!

"Feels like it's rainin'.......All over the world...."
Neat set, love the mood and all the great leading lines.
Second photo is a home run,

Nice shots! A new camera will be fun, but I checked the downloads and it doesn't seem to be required. YIKES! Did I just say new camera not necessary!!?! :D

Beautifull set! I LOVE the framing on the "photographer" shot, but I hope never to have my tripod as close to the edge as he does! Lol!

I would want all three, the Sigma for all of you interests, the Tokina 11-16mm for landscape (it's great for prominent fore grounds) and star, milky way and northern lights, and the Tamron for wildlife. If I had to leave one out I would substitute one of my medium range but slower zooms for the Sigma.
Btw I hope to be there next fall!
Have fun, and post your best when you get home!

#1 really works for me, I've never seen a live starfish, I didn't know they got so close to shore. Are they quick like a bunny or slower?
Very nice set!
