When I show up at a canyon, bridge, town, church, etc., I take a pic of the sign indicating what I am shooting. Next site, new sign pic.Hope that helps!
Oops, Craig beat me to it while I was huntin and peckin!
I would take a tripod for the low light shots and try for some reflections of lights in the wet roads and puddles. W/A and medium range zoom for most but maybe also a tele to get real selective on your subject. Good luck and be sure to post some!
Ps, myself I would have to experiment with settings with my eye on the histogram and checking the replay for blinkies.
Nice shots Ebrunner. #2 has a nice s curve that draws my eye right to where the boardwalk has it's 90 degree corner. The lines of the beach/railing keep attention righ in the upper third of your photo. Nice!
When my dad wanted this same info for his ancestors in what was East Germany, he found much info in the town church (Methodist I think). Every thing (birth,Marriage, and Death records) was all in High German, and he could find no translator. Luckily I was working for a MSU Prof at the time who was born and raised there and the issue was resolved. Some records dated back to the1500's! Good Luck! Edit: Try this link, maybe of some help. http://www.jewishgen.org/Courland/data_by_sources.htm
Pretty funny and not unlike a lotta Goldens I've been around. I trained a couple spaniels for upland birding, the first was incredible, the second was as disciplined as that Golden in the vid! Lol! Both were a treat! Thanks for the post!
Great post again! Thanks Richard. Excellent pics, the third is a great but sad photo. I'd like to think this is a bygone era but history says otherwise.
