An add on. Over the years we have been very pleased with the help we have gotten at Apple but I have found that sometimes it is hard to find someone who knows cameras and yet can work on two or three computers at once. I have done a couple of photo books an got a lot of help.

Yes, it was an apple employee and I did ask if anyone did photography and I was assured by how many pictures were on his I phone. But then it was an Apple Store.

I was at the Apple Store today and asked a question to one of the Apple Help people. I was told the Apple Photo does not recognize raw files. I said that I only shot in raw and the photos went into Apple Photo. He said that I must be shooting in raw and jpg both. Now my question is does Apple Photo not recognize raw and if not how come it accepts my photos. I have always put my photos on my computer , discarded ones I will probably never use then imported into lightroom for editing then exported back into Apple storage. I know this is probably strange but so am I. Also quite old and therefore find change unnerving. I started with Aperture and am so Apple in thinking. Please set me straight.

As the reply that they are not ducks but Canadian geese. At a photography course in VA. we were told these are not Canadian Geese but Canada Geese. So I guess these should be called American Canada Geese. Enough said.

Looks like an early false hellebore which is the plant that means spring has come here. Can't understand because here in Western Pa it is still so cold even the tripods have goosebumps. Can this possibility be a this years photo.Even that famous PA. groundhog can't believe this. By the way I like the picture

I have been using Lightroom 5.7.Now there is Lightroom 6 and Lightroom 6cc . Now my question what would I gain by up grading and what is the difference between 6 and 6cc.
I don't want to call Adobe because I'm afraid it would be like asking an insurance salesman if I have enough insurance. Now I am an old guy so please explain in simple terms.Thanks.

I have enjoyed your forum for a little while especially when there is a new page every morning. It makes me wonder just what time do you people get up in the morning. Us retired people sleep in till 7am. Anyway thanks for your response. I should tell you I see humor in almost everything.

HI. First let me say I am not a joiner but you program tells me why not. I am a professional but not in photography. For me this is a hobby but a pretty serious one which shows by the number of pictures on my computer. Also I am computer illiterate which makes editing my problem. My photography is for my own enjoyment which means The pictures will be gone when I am. My wife and I have traveled quite a bit and created DVD's and books which we share with groups in search of programs. When all is said I guess I can say life has been good.
