If you do it again, try to get a pit pass so you can get in real close to the cars before the race. Long Beach, being flat, does not offer up many good spots for unobscured viewing. Laguna Seca near Monterey or Sears Point near Sonoma have some hills so with some hiking you can find line-of-sight opportunities. Nice pic. Hope you had fun!
Yes, the goose, she shits. It is good we don't shit as we outnumber them 1,300 to 1!
Beautiful goose image!
You may not need it to get into Canada. But you will to get into the USA.
Waiting for the weekend. That is quit some patience. Hopefully the GAS pain has subsided!
For music - iTunes works well. Import the music as Apple Lossless and you can play it on your computer without the CD. You can also make a playlist of either the full album or a mixed group of songs and burn either to CDs that will play in your normal CD player like in your car. You need lots of hard drive space for lossless music as a 45 minute music CD will take about 200-300mb. My iTunes library has grown to 800Gb so far. Drives are (relatively) cheap but it does require back-up just like your Photo library. 800Gb represents a lot of time importing into iTunes. VLC player is used for playing video (usually).

I'll get an Ulstrastar Enterprise drive...
Only a 90 day warranty on a HGST Ultrastar, but cheap and maybe worth the risk as one of a redundant array or buy multiples in the event of a failure.

Check the reviews, some are saying these are used drives.
I was also looking at Western Digital Gold drives, but these enterprise/workstation drives with the five year warranty are not cheap. Instead I opted for a new lens and will upgrade the PC when needed. I hope you did not lose any unbacked-up Zeros or Ones when the drive died.

If you want to go really cheap...
And their updated article "Polarizing filters test 2015" @ http://www.lenstip.com/139.1-article-Polarizing_filters_test_2015.html
So all I have to do is find some nice 20 year younger actor to pose as my son and turn him loose with the right script...?
If the image is in a browser (like in gmail or yahoo) you can click on the image and drag it to your desktop (while holding down the mouse click) and that should create a file that is the image (something.png, something.jpg, etc.). Just double click that image to open it and print it. I would guess most email clients on the Mac would allow the same click and drag method. You can also (usually) get a context menu with some options by clicking on the image while holding down the "control" key (which is the same as right button clicking - if you have enabled it). One of the options is "Save image as..." and this gives you control of the name and location to save the image.
MY experience watching 15 year olds with technology is they quickly and seemingly randomly press/click buttons until they get the result they want (or some other result that distracts them from the original intent). I am always surprised when they get to a satisfying result, but they seem to. Perhaps the 15 year olds I have come in contact with have low expectations. OMG - I sound like my dad! Ouch!
I wasn't there, so apology accepted. I had to search out what you may have been apologizing for and it did not seem so bad - you socialist! {Of course, just kidding!!!}
Thomas902 - thank you for the link to the Khan Academy. I knew they had classes on coding and other tech info, but biology - very cool!
I think what you are looking for is in the drop-down where you see "Layout". You will see other options when clicked. One of those should allow you to turn off Printer Color Management (when you want your editing software to control the color).
