Thanks for the reply's. I sent an email to the Admin. and he re-activated me. Just received the 4-13 digest. I have to say that was really fast service. I took the advice of Dirtpusher and read the 13ths's entries on line. It's nice to be back in the action. I really do like it better in my email box. First thing I read when I wake up. As an aside, just took a Quantaray (sp) neutral filter off my "18-55" and man did it make a difference. I would not have thought about cheap filters if I had not been a member of this list. (New to posting here.) I agree with MWAC. At least on my computer, the boys face is not sharp! The eyelashes are a blur. Single area would have brought the boy into sharp focus like the swing set. I don't think there is anything wrong with her camera.Adjusting the focus setting could well be the answer to her problem and is the first thing I would do if I had the same problem.

I agree. It might not be a good deal. Keep this in mind however, you would be able to start using the camera right away. I shoot with a Nikon D50 with low megapixels. Amazing pictures. Maybe a used Dslr would be the way to go. You can buy a good used D50 with lens for around $250.00. Just a thought.
