I was wondering the same thing.
I ended up going with an upgrade to PE. Now, I've just got to work with the new version to get comfortable with it. Things are good......I'm still alive and kicking, so have no complaints really.

I've been using PE13 for several years. I don't recall if I bought the program in a box from a commercial establishment, or if I bought it online. Starting yesterday Adobe is effectively blocking my access to my photos because it wants me to buy PE13.
Question: Why do I need to buy PE13 when I had purchased it years ago? I know I'm missing something, but I don't know what. Any help/suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

Several years ago a pair of Mississippi kites were hanging around this area, and they would sit in a sweet gum tree that had some bare bunches almost in my backyard. I saw them catch a lot of cicadas in midair, land on the tree and have a snack. I was surprised one day when I saw one eating a sparrow that it had caught. I wished I had a better zoom lens because I would have gotten some good shots of that.
Several years ago I bought a Canon camera off QVC. The QVC spokesperson said when the camera was delivered a signature would be required because of the $800 camera cost. Well....I happened to step outside into my carport several days later and there was a box with my camera in it. The box was sitting on top of my recycle bin!!! Thanks a heap, UPS.

I missed the post the first time. I happened to be looking for something else and saw it. The words "Viet Nam" brought back a lot of memories...some good, some not so good. But it was a long time ago and painful memories dull somewhat over time.
