I have seen several in posts and comments, that many of you have or use an iPad for processing. I am interested to know which programs your using. I have installed Affinity which is fine. However, seems daunting to me. Adobe for some reason keeps stalling IMOP. Thanks in advance for any help or tips you might have.
I will have to say I will be in that minority as well. How you describe is how my dad showed me, and how I taught my sons. I use both a Nikon and Cannon point n shoots for appraisal work and I often find myself uncomfortable just looking at a screen. Yes I do capture images with the phone as well, but that’s a whole different topic.
You stated, “My only reason for having an iPhone is for the use of an exposure/processing program”
Which App is that? Because of work my iPhones are my cameras. However, when I want to be serious my a6400 is always with me, and just use the phone for the light meter.
Ok as I read the comments I think I understand, and I’m thinking that doing a ‘one time’ enhancement or correction to a jpeg will be ok. Any additional would then compromise the photos quality. Correct?
Cool ... not like I have any clue about plants. I installed this App to my iPhone so when I come across poison oak, or ivy I will have a positive ID. No I never remember what they look like.
Got it. It’s called a Canada Thistle. I found an App called ‘PictureThis’. Which quickly identifies plants.
There’ll be some fiddling and hot rods next week.
I would like to share, and post photos as well, but simply cannot figure out how. I’m so confused.
I use the same adapter with my wired apple headset. However, I do have an older headset that is in or from internal wires damaged. I also use my apple EarPods which is great but short battery life.
Call apple support they should help.
I am not really following about the camera thing, but with my line of work I use those sticks... a lot! I have had best success with a stick called Mpow isnapx easy to carry, and once paired to phone it always connects whenever I turn it on. It fits into my pocket and is ready for when I need it. Extends to 20 +”, and is under $10.00 from Amazon. For a longer reach I also carry a FugeTec with a tripod, and detachable Bluetooth trigger it has about a 50-60” reach.
I had similar experience with my D200 years past. For my new mirrorless I ordered a cuff style from PeakDesign. Very happy. Though it’s a mirrorless SONY a6000 I am able to support a larger heaver lens with my left hand, and have my right for setting and taking the shot. I like the Cuff style from them, and soon will order the adapters to attach to my favorite neck strap soon.
Our kitty Stitch, is a Maine Coon polydactyl mix. He has grown from a featherweight 2.5# kitten to a 19.2# solid muscle cat. He can protect a garden from all critters. He has brought down a pheasant, several rodents, squirrels, and I even watched him try to tackle a young turkey. Yup. He could watch a garden
Amazing. My son lives in San Dimas and I just might have to take a side trip.
