Thanks everyone - this job was for a "new" agency that I had not done any work for in the past. When working for agents directly (and as an agent myself) I became happy with my photographs (having studied the subject for some time) also using my previous agency I did not have any issues. This particular agency pays a very poor standard rate and tells the seller that a maximum of one hour will be required for photographs and floor plan measuring. I'm convinced that the agency may have reduced the images (from massive) before uploading to rightmove (who also set an upper yet generous maximum image size.

However I take on board all of your suggestions and examples - thank you all

I used Topaz Photo AI in the default mode only.
For PhotoScape X (Free): I used "Dehaze" (default), "Deepen" (18/100), "Vibrance" (10/100), "Clarity" (50/100), and the "Spot Healing Brush" to remove the bright shadows from the window(?) on the floor in front of the fireplace. I was in a hurry so these adjustments were quickly done, much faster than making this response, haha.
All said your photo was very good with straight verticals and no exaggerated leading lines. I think that I would have closed the door completely or just a little bit more to reduce its size, but I wasn't there . . .
Please don't take offense at these comments as I do think that the only REAL Issue with this pic was that it was just a little overexposed, the rest are just nits.
Best Wishes,

I use primarily Topaz products along with PhotoScapeX. They both work well for me. PhotoScapeX (Free) can be used accurately with 3 or 4 clicks or you can REALLY get into serious editing. Here are a couple of sites for you to see if you are interested. Be sure to select Mac/or Windows. Get the free version (just below the "Pro" download) first (it never expires), and you can always upgrade. Also, please do yourself a favor and watch the following two short YouTube videos to see if you would be interested in training. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWC-SAuYOzw&t=325s Instruction and download at http://x.photoscape.org/

Hi Jimmy - that's much better. I don't know if the agent or Rightmove messed around with them or what. I use Luminar and/or Photoshop. Can I ask what adjustments you made in your editing? Thanks again

Just that the colours don't look accurate and a bit washed out

A few weeks ago I took some real estate photographs using my Canon R with EF wide angle zoom (my usual kit for these jobs). I used a tripod and flash as per normal. I shoot in RAW with some post-processing to straighten verticals and crop as required.

As soon as the agent confirms receipt of the images I am asked (and do) delete my files.

Shock horror - when I happened to look at them today I was not happy with the colours (no HDR used). Any and all advice would be gratefully received - thank you.

The EOS is a TERRIFIC camera and excellent value. Buy one with the 24-105 F4 lens and you're good to go with some pro quality gear! You won't be disappointed. The R has a 30MP sensor with sensational ISO range.

Newer iPhones try to use HDR or Smart HDR. I've switched these options OFF. More natural photographs now

Phones can take great pictures too! I often get my best photographs simply because I happen to have my phone with me when an opportunity arises. Great photo by the way

UK Photography laws makes any image taken from a public area (including a private area with implied right of access) or a private area with permission from the owner the copyright of the photographer. Nobody can access the image without a court order and similarly a court order is required if an image is to be deleted. How many photographs of for example Buckingham Palace are taken each day. There are more cameras in the world than there are people - good luck with any attempt to claim copyright!

I do work for an Australian construction magazine. They specify that my photographs are delivered to them as TIFF files.

Man receives the following text message:

Hi Bob, This is Alan next door.

I have a confession to make.

I've been riddled with guilt these past few months and have been trying to pluck up the courage to tell you to your face, but I am at least now telling you in text as I can't live with myself a moment longer without you knowing.

The truth is I have been sharing your wife, day and night when you're not around.

In fact, probably more than you.

I haven't been getting it at home recently, but that's no excuse, I know.

The temptation was just too much.

I can no longer live with the guilt and I hope you will accept my sincerest apologies and forgive me.

It won't happen again.

Please suggest a fee for usage, and I'll pay you.

Regards, Alan.

Bob, feeling insulted and betrayed, grabbed his gun, and shot his neighbour dead.

He returned home where he poured himself a stiff drink and sat down on the sofa.

He took out his phone where he saw he has a subsequent message from his neighbor:

THE SECOND MESSAGE READS:

Hi Bob, This is Alan next door again. Sorry about the typo on my last text.

I expect you figured it out anyway, that you noticed that darned Autocorrect changed 'Wi-Fi' To 'Wife'.

Technology hey?

Regards, Alan.

Here's a simpler one (or is it?). Just figure out what the number is of the parking space occupied by the car. Usual rules apply - no Internet searching and no asking a nearby child for help! Let me know if you've figured it out WITHOUT revealing the answer. I'll post the solution later.

As always, keep safe and enjoy
