Jerry,
Its law in Connecticut and Massachusetts also. You can be ticketed merely for having that snowpile on your roof or hood.

That first shot would be a GREAT Christmas Card!!
Great group of photos! I've spent many early mornings kayaking and canoeing there. One of my best friends lives just up the road. Is Daddy's Bread still operating?
The National WWII Museum in New Orleans is partnering to bring a Classic Warbirds fly-in to New Orleans Lakefront Airport next month.
http://www.ww2airpowerexpo.org/homeThis ought to be a great photo op. I might just bump into one or two of you there.
As a lifelong "Bucs" fan, I can just imagine my boyhood heroes taking the field. Thanks so much for these. Only Fenway and Wrigley are left to keep the history of these old parks alive.
I just purchased a copy of "Louisiana Wild". Its the newest publishing of the work of an amazing nature photographer named C. C. Lockwood.
http://www.cclockwood.com I was lucky enough to attend a signing of the book at his gallery in Baton Rouge last night. It details all of The Nature Conservancy properties in Louisiana.
Any of you nature photographers on UHH would love his stuff. A real gentleman and an expert on life of the Atchafalaya Basin.
Welcome to the group....Connecticut transplant to West Feliciana Parish here!!
BADGERS?! We dont need no stinking Badgers !

Anyone have experience with Holdfast Gear Money Maker Shoulder strap?
I got one for Christmas (mine happens to be the tan canvas material). Its very well constructed and I like that its wide and has a material which grips my shirt so it stays where I put it. The extra SD card pouches on it make it even more practical. I know theyre pricey but considering what we pay for bodies and lenses, should we kick about paying for a quality strap!?
Almost anything by Rocky Patel, Perdomo, or Nat Sherman for me. I like Rocky's Decades and Perdomo's Plantations. I have a relatively big hand (and head....or so I've been told), so I like a Robusto or Double Toro sized cigar. Anything at about a 50 Ring, and about 5-6 inches long suits me fine.
I've also been smoking quite a few of the Nub varieties lately. You might think its a short smoke but the way theyre packed and wrapped make them a nice 20 minute smoke on the porch at night. Great topic idea.

Nimbus,
The airport is there and operational. Ive flown in there with a pilot buddy a few times. That's one short "strip" that takes some skill to keep your feet dry.

Welcome Back friend! 3 great photos to mark your return.
Welcome Fred.
I've got family in Ashley Falls, Egremont, and Great Barrington.
Enjoy the site.

I do this. I collect them from items I buy and from colleagues at work. Have never had a problem even in the humidity of the Louisiana summers where condensation is prevalent going from a/c to outdoors and back. But havent really set it up as a controlled test either. Its cheap and easy so why not?
Nice job sqbear. I'm no portrait expert but this looks like pretty solid work.
To speak to your testimony, I unfortunately have experience transporting several children over the years to "your" Shriner's Burn Institute in Boston. Your organization's members should be proud of the work that you fund!
