The year 1966 was an odd one. It gave us "Batman" (the original campy TV series) and the weird pop song "Winchester Cathedral." American B-52 bombers pounded Hanoi, North Vietnam, and a homely murderer Richard Speck horrified the nation. In the midst of all of this, the Pirates emerged as contenders for the National League pennant. It's great to look at old black & white photo's to see what people were wearing.

As a lifelong "Bucs" fan, I can just imagine my boyhood heroes taking the field. Thanks so much for these. Only Fenway and Wrigley are left to keep the history of these old parks alive.
