Great B&W photos. Both B&W and color photos make their statements. To me, the statements are usually totally different.

Last Tuesday morning I took my wife to have lunch with her nursing friends of many years (Once a month). The location was near Shem Creek City Park boardwalk. There are four photos total: two of the "Greeting Pelican" and two of a Black Skimmer bird. There are several excellent restaurants along the creek. Ate at the Salt Water Cowboys restaurant. Had some fried shrimp that were excellent!

As I was sitting on the back porch yesterday (Thursday), a Great Blue Heron walked through the far side of my neighbor's backyard. The photo was taken with my Canon R7 and RF 100-400mm lens. After 28 years this is a first visit this close.

Thanks for the great photos of Columbia. Spent a few years there. In 1956, mid-July to mid-September, Basic Training at Fort Jackson (where I really grew up). And several years at USC in 1960s: two degrees.
