Sounds like a phenomenon I call buyers remorse, prior to buying. I spent many years selling new homes for a living and became convinced this is a real thing. Some people spend years looking for a new home but always find an excuse not to buy. They never end up buying because of this theory.
I need one of those so I can get to work on time.
