AHA! FINALLY! While the source of that seductive sound cannot be revealed (because we're not monks), but we finally have a solution to the question, "How does one keep an idiot in suspense?..."
GOOD ONE!
Love those dog pics! Have a Border Collie similar to the one in #3. Great dogs, but definitely have a mind of their own!
At 68, I can relate to these, except the first one! I still have most of my teeth! My parents gifted me with good genes, I guess!
Squirrels and raccoons! Smarter than the average person! ";-)
I got gimp from this site, some time ago, for free. Works well. Has a fairly steep learning curve, but does everything I've asked it to do. Good enough for this amateur!
Cross-breed ducks are common out here in Lake Co. CA. Usually cross with domestic, plain vanilla-white, and either Mallard or Wood Ducks. Might be a cross of some sort.
Those are great shots! We've got a goat farm here near Lakeport, CA. Owner is a farmer, and also lactose intolerant, and the dairy, that started out as a necessity, has become a hobby! Goats are EVERYWHERE! They're wonderful "friends", too!
Most "fillers" in American cars are on the left, while most "fillers" in Japanese cars are on the right. Haven't seen a "behind the plate" filler for years. I used to love my '56 Chevy, with its filler "hidden" behind the left tail light!
I do not use pot, either medicinally, or recreationally, but my ex-wife, a victim of fibro-mialgea, does. Big Pharma, her doctors, and the medical profession, generally, are unable to assist her with any of her aches and pains (many, and quite debilitating), but pot can. Naturally her doctors tell her it is "all in her head", because ONLY Big Pharma can make pain killers that work! I was diagnosed with multiple-sclerosis in 1995, and was advised by two different neurologists, that if the pain got too great, to consider pot as a natural, and non-invasive cure. I've never tried it, but I do keep it in mind.
On the flip-side of that issue, I have known many loud, boorish, offensive drunks, but have never known a loud, boorish, offensive pothead!
Beautiful makeup, well photographed! A quick chorus of Flanders and Swann: "Ain't it grand to be blooming-well dead"!
Moose actually are North America's largest deer! Great shot of both "Rocky" and "Bullwinkle"!
Also one of the most often parodied!
"If you can keep your head while those all around you are losing theirs,
You'll soon be the tallest one in the room!"
I'm very fond of Kipling. Because he was a journalist, I appreciate what Mark Twain told him:
"Get your facts first and then you can distort 'em as much as you please."
Mark Twain, to Rudyard Kipling
Makes a lot of sense in today's environment of "fake news"!
Beautiful ladies, both! Congratulations to your daughter, and also to you and your wife for helping Jasmine find her way!
Good that there are two of them, for one good tern deserves another...
