How simplistic to think you can just hook up a wind mill or solar panel and bingo the grid has more power which you can get from a teat. You need to read the book "dumb Energy". If you are serious about this. Think about the wires necessary to hook up the panels and blades; the distance the weather etc... And then theres the cost. laced with subsidies. These green energy wonders aren't cheap; but the greenies are bound to make you think so. Read the book.....

The most notable drones for consumers seem to be DJI, Autel Evo, and Yuneec Typhoon. I have studied all of these and own 2 DJI's and a DYI drone. There is a lot of controversy about these from performance, to company warranties, and many other things you wouldn't believe. There are Internet forums for all of these and a good source of info; as well as Facebook etc. There are many you tube videos of the camera performance also..I would suggest you look them up on you tube go to the forums read the manuals and then seek further discussion. As you study you will find what questions you need to further your decision. By the way these drones are around $1000 and personally I am thinking of the Autel Evo. Its quite reliable; is Seattle based, great photography; both video and stills. Hope this helps for a start.

Worrying about batteries is great but even more important is being able to charge those batteries. You still need more than windmills and solar; especially in the winter. Coal is always available and could be close to electric generators. Too many people have failed to look into what many call "Dumb Energy" . You might want to consider Essex Montana to stay; a great lodge from historical times or multiple cabooses also ; very nice and different. From there its 35 - 40 miles north to Glacier entrance. You also can extend your trip another 35-40 miles north to Pole bridge very interesting place and from there multiple lakes can be visited. Bowman Lake offers campground day hike up lake to a mountain lookout. So much to do and see and so little time.
